Thought I'd start a thread for the new grad program at UCSD for Spring 2017!

Anyone applied so far? What units? Wanted to keep each other updated if we hear anything :)

Can anybody please give me some advice about my resume. I didn't know there was an ATS system and I've applied to several programs already and they never change my application status from "App Received" I think my resume is not good enough or something must be wrong. Is there anything specific that I should write in my resume? I have a strong cover letter but I guess that's not helping either. Help please!!!

I haven't heard a thing. I think we are supposed to sit tight and wait... but if anyone wants to call and ask please post haha!! I imagine they will make their decision this week... the waiting is challenging, to say the least!!!I'd rather just know yes or no, even if it's bad news.

No updates- no timeline - as far as I know. It's excruciating.

has anyone else gotten an email/call?

Also! curious to know, was anyone that applied an extern?

I called HR and they said that all applicants should hear back by Oct. 6th. However, my status as of 24th Sep has not been changed from "Application received on XYZ" Has anyone's status updated or received a call/email? My heart is skipping a beat everyday waiting :(
