Thought I'd start a thread for the new grad program at UCSD for Spring 2017!

Anyone applied so far? What units? Wanted to keep each other updated if we hear anything :)

I called HR and they said that all applicants should hear back by Oct. 6th. However, my status as of 24th Sep has not been changed from "Application received on XYZ" Has anyone's status updated or received a call/email? My heart is skipping a beat everyday waiting :(

Applicants for which postings? there have been a few different waves of new grad posts; L&D, BMT were first, and med surg and tele were most recent. I know firsthand that L&D and BMT interviews are concluded, and I know that people interviewing for tele were called, but I'm not sure if those are over or when they are scheduled. The unit I'm not sure about is the med surg. It was posted at the same time as tele so I assume they called people already but maybe not. I interviewed for L&D, and the day they called me my status changed to "consideration for interview." That particular job does not have an official offer to anyone yet as far as I know - I called HR on Friday and they confirmed that. To which applicants was HR referring that would be notified by Oct 6? Did she mean the job would be filled by then?

Hi, I applied to Telemetry and when I called HR they said that all applicant should hear about interview or not considereed any more by Oct 6th. How was your interview like? Have you heard back from UCSD yet? THank you!

Nope. And I've used up my quota for calling and bugging HR so maybe someone else can haha. Apparently there are department issues leading to a delay. But perhaps the more of us who call HR will motivate HR to attempt to get their attention. Good luck to all:-)

Yes, HR had emailed the department about it but they haven't heard anything. Anyone else want to try calling ?

I applied to telemetry and med surge and my status did not change from submission received.... I just applied to the ortho one let's see if I have luck this time.

My status for the med surg position changed to referred to hiring” on September 13th but I have yet to receive any other info

my status just changed to pending interview decision, but I'm not sure how that changes anything... i already thought it was pending interview decision. haha.

I was told that they would be notifying us today with their decision for the L&D new grad
