UCSD New Grad 2017

Thought I'd start a thread for the new grad program at UCSD for Spring 2017!

Anyone applied so far? What units? Wanted to keep each other updated if we hear anything :)

They don't have application program "rounds," the positions on an "as needed" basis. So check daily. For a sample timeline, I applied back in the end of May, got an interview on June 20, and was offered a position on June 26. :)

Anyone apply to the L&D/Postpartum position that just closed Aug 15th? It stated it was for the October 2017 cohort. Thought we could keep each other posted!

Awesome! My application changed to "referred to hiring department" as well! Hopefully we will hear something back fairly soon about interviews considering it is just individual departments reviewing things and not some massive new grad cohort like Lucile Packard and UC Davis. Where do you live Oakdene44?

I applied to the L&D new grad as well, and received a "referred to hiring department" status change 8/16, but nothing since. I'm from San Diego.

Did anyone apply for the psychiatric research position? I was referred for that one. I finally took a job in mental health and the pay is good and I like the people I work with but I would quit for UCSD.
