UCSD new grad RN program

hi everyone!

I recently applied for the UCSD new grad RN program-ICU...i do have my RN license. I really want to work for UCSD, but i havent heard much back from them. I was requested to fill out the new grad questionare after applying for the positiong, but that was on 03/10/08....What can I do to really get that job???? I need advice. Dont know if i should call them n ask for the status of application or just wait. Is anybody out there who went through their program??? or just waiting to hear from them too??? I would appreciate any comments! thank you

Did you send back the questionairre? I did the same thing on the 9th and got a reply saying that it was sent to the next level of interviewing and a recruiter would contact me shortly so I am waiting for that. Did you get the Congrats email for the 2nd part after the questionairre?

i definitely will..thanx again...

ps. keeping fingers crossed for both of us!

I can tell you for a fact that over 400 people aplied as new grads for UCSD, and Monica, the one that reads the surveys for those who did send them back, is running behind. Just study up on your interview questions and come prepared. The interview is the key. I just interviewed at hillcrest this week. Call the recruiter, it will help a lot.

well this may not be necessary but ucsd isrepresented at that job fair for healthcare workers in mission valley that i posted on here so maybe going there and talking to the recruiter face to face will do some good?

good luck either way! :)

i had to keep emailing Monica, i did finally get her to send the information to the nurse manager on the floor that i was hoping to work on. i now have accepted a job on the 6th floor at Hillcrest-anyone else going to be working there? im moving from IL to San Diego this summeR! :)
