hi there! i haven't started working at folsom prison, my agency is still waiting for the gate clearance.. right now i'm trying to get into any new grad programs in the hospital.. it's kinda tough.. nobody is calling me coz i graduated in the philippines and when i called them they said their local grads are their priority.. i don't know how to get started.. i think i'll try working at care homes or long term care facilities.

hi there! i just did the online application at the cdcr website, but unfortunately due to my lack of experience in working as an RN since i'm a new grad my score was only 75... rank 6 only... although i passed.. when i checked, i saw the number of candidates in the waiting list... it was really huge.. i hope they'll call me though....

i appreciate your advice thank you so much! =) yesterday i went to this healthcare agency and they are goin to assign me at folsom prison. i'll give it a try hopefully i can get a permanent job in there so i can have medical benefits as well.. coz i don't have any benefits yet which i really need just in case...

hey hi! i'm a newly grad RN here at sacramento ca. i can't seem to find a job coz hospitals here requires atleast 1 yr. of experience... i don't know what to do.. pls i need some advice i'm kinda new here at sac.. :crying2: i actually tried calling some recruiters and the only place they would assign me is at the correctional facility prison...35 per hr. only

hi guys! anyone from ca. got their results yet? i just checked the website and they last updated march 14.... and i took the nclex rn exam march 11 but my name is still not there...i'm a foreign student but i have a ssn.... does this mean i failed for sure? i'm worried this is my 2nd attempt to take the test and i only got 75 q's..... i don't know what to do.... should i start reviewing again or still wait for the results.....:crying2:

i think i failed too... but i'm still praying to see my name on the website. all my friends who took the exam before from california got their results in the website after 72 hrs... so i'm not sure of my status..... i just really hope we passed
