UCSD New Grad Residency August 2023

Hello everyone! Just thought I would start this thread for those applying to UCSD's new grad residency program starting this August! I know the job listing should be posted within the next week or so (:

yesterday, general changed to "referred to the hiring department".

the other 2 still have my status as "application received".

I applied to all three and I've had updates for both onc and general. No update for specialty yet!

Oh I see! Thank you! I wonder if units would start to set up interviews without receiving all applications from talent acquisition?

Has anyones status changed from received for ICU? waiting has got me on edge!!

I did. I got referred and I only applied to CCU/ICU

I'm a CA native but I moved out of state to KY for nursing school and I currently work as a nurse Extern in the CCU at the hospital in my town since 2021. I also am a telemetry technician at the same hospital. So I do both roles.

Mines been updated for specialty to referred - I think they are still just taking a bit to work through them!
