UCSD New Grad Residency August 2023

Hello everyone! Just thought I would start this thread for those applying to UCSD's new grad residency program starting this August! I know the job listing should be posted within the next week or so (:

My general says referred to hiring but my oncology one just says received

March 17 for general and March 21 for specialty.

Okay thank you! Hoping it wasn't a rolling application cus I submitted both on 24th:(

I believe they had said in the informational meeting that applying earlier vs. later has no effect on whether or not you're accepted.

Mines say referred to hiring manager also. But not sure which department out of the 3 interest I chose from.

Did you apply to both specialty and regular med surg? Also, when did you apply to them if you don't mind me asking

Ya I applied the first day for ED and ED in patient on the day it opened

How did you see that it went to ED? My general just says sent but doesn't say which hiring managers got it

Hmm I guess technically I don't know for sure, the only selection I made for specialty was ED and for general EDIP, I got referred for both so hopefully they went to ED hiring manager but I guess it could be to everyone or something
