UCSD New Grad Residency August 2023

Hello everyone! Just thought I would start this thread for those applying to UCSD's new grad residency program starting this August! I know the job listing should be posted within the next week or so (:

Hey everyone, 

I was also referred to hiring with OB as my #1 choice.  *fingers crossed* I am a new grad ish...had my second baby and focused on my family after graduating.  Now I am refocusing and still have to take my test. ??‍♀️  

What is a screening call? Someone from the actual department? Curious to know what kind of questions that entails and what happens if you miss the call.  My phone has lived on silence since having children.

I received a screening call yesterday from oncology/BMT ? they told me that they are screening all those who were referred to hiring department and will call me back Thursday/Friday to notify me if I will move forward with an interview

Has anyone who applied to the ICU heard anything. So far my application still states "referred to hiring department"

I applied to OB, my status still says referred and I haven't gotten any calls or emails yet, have you?

I haven't either. Mine still just says referred to hiring.
