UCSD Fall New Grad Residency 2022

Hi!! I wanted to make a group for new nurses who applied to the fall residency program at UCSD. Applications opened 06/27/2022. Comment if you applied!

Congrats!! Can you share your stats? I applied L&D and haven’t been referred to hiring department, so I’m wondering what I can do to increase my chances the next application cycle

Thanks! Sure, I did my capstone on a LnD floor. Was a CNA and currently a RN student extern. Also did some related certs for mom and babies like FHM, lactation, NRP and STABLE. Hope it helps ?

Congrats and good luck!! I’m glad people are starting to hear back about L&D. I’m just hoping I get a call tomorrow or next week.

Hi all! Just thought I'd chime in and say I just had a phone screening for OR and they told me if I move on to interviews, they'll have it through zoom since I'm out of state. Still no word on references/interview.
