Hi ?, I will start on the same day as you at Sharp Chula Vista. I received an email from our nursing manager and scheduled an appointment to see her to discuss on the work schedule on 22th. She will be giving us a book to study for a ECG test. Look up for those email if you haven't. Did anyone open a group for Sharp Spring new graduate forum on facebook that we can connect with each other? By the way, which department will you be starting at? I am in the LnD. Hi it is me again ?. For me, I would like to work for a position that is unionized. From what I read on some facebook grps, there is some people that mentioned Scripps isn't unionized but I can be wrong. Just double check w/ HR on that. Congrats on getting 2 offers! That's cool ?

Hi bobracubbles, From what I know regarding the references as stated on my official offer letter as long as we met the 2 references requirement that are good and solid, we are good. As for me, I reached out to the hiring manager that called/sent the congratulation email after the verbal letter on the updates. I did that 2 weeks after the verbal offer since I need to relocate & to give 2 weeks notice to my current employer. IMO, I still think to have a written offer letter only it is official then I can stop going for more interviews. I hope that help to clear your mind a little. Congrats on the offer as well!

Hey Lizza, Give them like 2 weeks and reach out may be? I gave the hiring manager 2 weeks then reach out as I need to submit my 2 weeks notice for the current job and I finally got the offer letter last night from the acquisition team. May be because we won't start until 3/30 for Chula Vista so there is still time. I wish you best of luck and like you said before finger crossed ?

Sorry Lizza I was meant to answer your text on this but I am bad on replying for this forum so I clicked on sth just now. For me, I interviewed on 12/21 and got a reference email that afternoon. Someone from the department called on 12/28 for a verbal offer and a confirmation email right after. Still waiting for the written offer to come. Good luck on yours and hope you will hear back soon!

I agree. I got a call on Thursday but I requested a zoom call as I live in SF. They emailed me the references email but no interview/directions email yet. I will definitely follow up if I didn’t hear anything on Tuesday as we have long weekend this week.

Thanks! Sure, I did my capstone on a LnD floor. Was a CNA and currently a RN student extern. Also did some related certs for mom and babies like FHM, lactation, NRP and STABLE. Hope it helps ?

I got a call today for LnD but I am from the Bay Area so I asked if it is possible for them to do a zoom interview or else I will go in person. Still haven’t gotten anything for the 5 reference infor yet. Only knew that the interview will be next week. Fingers crossed hopefully they will reach out to you soon! All the best!
