Hello Everyone,
I noticed there was no forum for UCONN CEIN 2020 entry. I wanted to start one for the accelerated nursing program. A little bit about myself: I have a BA in chemistry, overall GPA of 3.5 and am still finishing up a microbiology and statistics course this semester. I just submitted my application this past January for stamford and waterbury campus and am still waiting to hear back from them. I would love to hear from others about their experiences on this application cycle. Please feel free to share as much as you feel comfortable.
Good luck everyone!

I think the few of us on this forum will have a special connection from stressing over our application process together lol. Hopefully there will be a Facebook page where everyone in the cohort can share information.
haha definitely!! I hope there will be a facebook page too, that way we can all connect and go through this crazy year ahead together! Do you live in Stamford? I'll be commuting from Guilford CT, but taking the train in

Lol I know right? Yes I do live in Stamford, thank goodness! I was actually willing to commute to whichever campus was available though, but I'm so relieved that I'll be right here.

Yup! I took a class summer session one and it was 5 weeks. Now I’m in my second summer class and the final is August 7th. It’s so rough! But at least we’re pushing through!

Oh okay. Yeah, it will definitely be a struggle to commute down here. The good thing is that you will be taking the train, so at least you could utilize that time to review your notes.
Hello,
Should I take this as a likely rejection?
“The Admissions Committee of the Accelerated Second-Degree CEIN/BS program at UConn has reviewed your application for the January 2020 cohort. The pool of applicants for this cohort is very competitive. At this time the Committee has decided to hold your application and will make a decision in August 2019. Thank you for your patience and your interest in this program.”
Thanks
