Hello Everyone,
I noticed there was no forum for UCONN CEIN 2020 entry. I wanted to start one for the accelerated nursing program. A little bit about myself: I have a BA in chemistry, overall GPA of 3.5 and am still finishing up a microbiology and statistics course this semester. I just submitted my application this past January for stamford and waterbury campus and am still waiting to hear back from them. I would love to hear from others about their experiences on this application cycle. Please feel free to share as much as you feel comfortable.
Good luck everyone!

And does anyone know of a Facebook group created yet for us all to stay in touch? ?
I received my acceptance email on April 29 and my student and net IDs on June 7! I was also looking for a Facebook group but couldn't find one.

I received my acceptance email exactly two weeks ago today. I returned my signed form the following day and haven't gotten any further communication. I assume they are super busy right now, so will wait until after the whole application period runs off before reaching out to them.
I've already started the process of my health requirements and should have everything ready to go once I do receive further information. I just really would like more information about the orientation and all that as well. Hopefully we will soon.
Hi guys,
I was just attempting to create a Facebook group, however I have to add at least one friend in order to do so. I don't know much about Facebook, as I rarely use it but I know it would be a much more convenient way for us to communicate. So if I could get the name of at least one person to become friends with I could create the group, then I guess others could receive invites via email.

My name on Facebook is Jenna Christine!
@Daintymish @jcd2019 let us know what you end up naming the group so we can search and find it! My name on FB is Paige Tillinghast so feel free to add me if that helps!

@jcd2019Okay great! I'm about to get to it now. I will send you both friend requests. I'll be naming it UConn CEIN 2020 so others can search for the group
I'm getting pretty anxious. I've been doing pretty good, patiently waiting since I received an email in early june stating they would review my application again in August. Has anyone heard anything about when the board will be meeting again? I'm hopeful that they meet today and that acceptance letters will be sent out later this afternoon. Who else is still patiently waiting for a response ?

I was speaking to a woman who is currently in the program and she said that most people don't work at all, and the few people that do work only have 1-2 shifts per week. I waitress and bartend, so I will most likely work 1-2 shifts per week. The shifts are only six hours long and the pay out is good. This program puts us in a difficult situation because school IS the most important thing, but at the same time, bills don't go away.
