  1. Yay!! Congrats to you and @orangeguy! So happy for you! Come join the Facebook group if you haven’t already! Just search UConn Cein 2020 and request to join! So excited to meet you all in October ?
  2. Someone said they’d be meeting early August so maybe today! I waited for 7 weeks to hear back so I get how you guys are feeling. They met last Friday and I found out Monday so I’m praying you guys hear soon! Don’t lose hope!
  3. @Daintymish @jcd2019 let us know what you end up naming the group so we can search and find it! My name on FB is Paige Tillinghast so feel free to add me if that helps!
  4. Has anyone gotten their student and net ID yet? Just curious so I can start to get everything done that we need to. And does anyone know of a Facebook group created yet for us all to stay in touch? ?
  5. Heard back this afternoon! I got accepted into the Waterbury campus! Super nervous, but very excited. Can’t wait to meet you all! @jlm6317I’m not sure about finances yet but I definitely plan to apply for FAFSA. As for working - I’m a CNA at a local hospital and plan to work but I’m gonna go per diem. That way I can still keep my place of employment but only have to work a minimum of two shifts every six week period. I know they don’t recommend working during the program but money is kind of a necessity. So we’ll see how it goes! I heard that the first semester is the toughest!
  6. I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing! It’s not a “no”! Although it’s super vague and confusing. I applied mid June and still haven’t heard anything, but I also didn’t get that email either. So maybe they’ll be sending out more decisions this week since August is practically here? All of this up in the air stuff is definitely frustrating, but i know it’s just a part of the process. Can I ask when you received that email? Was it recent? Hoping for the best for us all!
  7. Yup! I took a class summer session one and it was 5 weeks. Now I’m in my second summer class and the final is August 7th. It’s so rough! But at least we’re pushing through!
  8. I applied June 10th and still haven’t heard anything yet either, although I know they were waiting for my summer session 1 grade to post which I was able to send last week. So I don’t think we should be worried yet! Waiting is seriously the worst! Congrats to everyone finding out this week already!
  9. For those of you who got accepted, what time of day did you get your email? I called admissions the other day with another question and she told me the committee is meeting today.
  10. Thank you so much! I really hope I have a good chance!
  11. Congrats to everyone hearing back already! That’s great! Does anyone know about how many people usually apply to this program in particular each application period?
  12. Ah that makes me nervous, but excited! Thanks for letting us know! Someone also told me recently that they don’t start looking at your application until you have two classes left in progress. Does anyone know if this is true? I’m taking two summer classes (one I’ll finish next week) and one fall class so I’m just wondering if it’ll affect when I’ll hear back with a decision. Thanks!
  13. I finally applied today! I’m already so anxious. Hopefully we won’t have to wait until after the August 1st deadline. Waiting is always the worst part!
  14. I haven't hit the submit button yet, but I probably will be applying this weekend! Ah! My first choice location is waterbury so we'll see!
  15. For those of you who’ve been accepted already - did you find out via mail or email or both?
