Hello Everyone,
I noticed there was no forum for UCONN CEIN 2020 entry. I wanted to start one for the accelerated nursing program. A little bit about myself: I have a BA in chemistry, overall GPA of 3.5 and am still finishing up a microbiology and statistics course this semester. I just submitted my application this past January for stamford and waterbury campus and am still waiting to hear back from them. I would love to hear from others about their experiences on this application cycle. Please feel free to share as much as you feel comfortable.
Good luck everyone!

I applied on July 11th and haven’t heard back yet. I see that people are hearing back this week, should I be worried if I haven’t been emailed?
Thanks
I applied June 10th and still haven’t heard anything yet either, although I know they were waiting for my summer session 1 grade to post which I was able to send last week. So I don’t think we should be worried yet! Waiting is seriously the worst!
Congrats to everyone finding out this week already!

Congrats to everyone finding out this week already!
Thanks for letting me know, fingers crossed and good luck! And yeah waiting is awful lol
I just found out that one of my transcripts has not been processed by NursingCAS yet and thus does not show up as complete yet, although the application was submitted to UCONN before the July 15th deadline.
Will the committee be meeting again or was that the last one earlier this week?
Thanks

Hey there, I don't think you should be too worried. Even though the NursingCAS deadline is July 15th, UConn's last review date is August 1st. I think that since your application was actually submitted before the 15th you should be okay.
I submitted my application at the beginning of June, and just received my acceptance yesterday. You definitely shouldn't lose hope. I'm pretty sure your application will be in the set for that final review, and everyone should most likely know their status by early next month. Good luck to you!

Thank you very much! That’s good to hear, I’ll try not to worry.
And congrats on your acceptance!

I just submitted mine and received an automatic response stating that due to the high volume of emails it will take a while for them to respond. For those still waiting, it also said applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and notifications will be sent in the next couple of weeks.
I think that they've been so swamped with inquiries that everything is taking a bit longer.

Didn't even think of how many emails they must be getting. I called Heather's number today and it went right to voicemail. Busy time of year for them for sure. Thanks for the clarity!

Hello everyone,
Congrats to all who have been accepted thus far. I just received my acceptance email for the Stamford campus about 45 minutes ago. I was starting to worry that I wouldn't after seeing that others had already heard back. Good luck to those still waiting, don't lose hope!
