Hi Everyone!
I saw many other threads from the previous years so I figured I would start a new one for the 2018 cycle. I recently got accepted after applying for the February 17th deadline to my first choice, Avery Point. I just wanted to connect with everyone else that is interested in this program or anyone that is going to be in this program!
I'm really excited to hear from you all and good luck to everyone who is still waiting to hear back or applying for the other deadlines! :)
I did call! Eglute, I'm not sure about the status of the application being back up or not. I called regarding not receiving an email yet, and she said by this week we should hear something? Not sure if that's 100% accurate, I'm sure they're getting bombarded with phone calls about their traditional and accelerated programs, but she did say that admissions was going to start sending out the emails.
For anyone who was wondering what the questions were from the application, these are them:
1. Please describe your work experience
2. Nursing (or Health care) Experience
3. Why do you want to be a nurse?
4. Why are you interested in the CEIN/BS program?
5. What are your future professional goals?

I still havn't gotten my email! How about you? I wanna get the packet so I know all the stuff I have to do before we start!
weirdly enough I just went to NursingCAS and applied for UConn CEIN BS 2018 manually by searching it up. I have been checking manually every day and finally saw it got added to the list of schools other than St Joseph's so I figured this would be it. Everything they are looking for seems to be there and it costed $45 extra to process it.

Workforce I found them in there too and started adding info however, I will not submit application until they will say it's good to go. Per their email it's not working as they hoped to get it running by the 1st of May. I am pretty upset that they keep old guidance on the site (I wouldn't know it will be changed if I wouldn't attend information session) and I am pretty upset that February cohort could apply old way and did not have to pay extra $45. I think they should give an extension for the deadline.
Jay816 somebody from last year told me it's $500.
