Hi Everyone!

I saw many other threads from the previous years so I figured I would start a new one for the 2018 cycle. I recently got accepted after applying for the February 17th deadline to my first choice, Avery Point. I just wanted to connect with everyone else that is interested in this program or anyone that is going to be in this program!

I'm really excited to hear from you all and good luck to everyone who is still waiting to hear back or applying for the other deadlines! :)

Great, thanks and good luck!

No problem! Best of luck to you too! :)

CTmom, If you don't mind me asking, which school are you leaning more towards and why?

I'm still waiting to hear back from UCONN -- I've received acceptances from a few other schools so I'm in the same boat as many of you, I just want to know so I can make a decision.

Got my acceptance letter yesterday to the Storrs campus. They give very little time for you to decide, I have a week to send in my deposit (which is the most expensive one out of all the schools I got into). Not complaining though, like others have said it's a good dilemma to have.

Congrats to all that have received their acceptance letters! I received my acceptance letter for Avery Point over the weekend...I re-read the letter and I thought we just have to send the acceptance of admission paper back, and then we receive further communication where we will then have to pay the deposit. Did I understand that incorrectly?

mel246, I just re-read my acceptance letter and you are absolutely right. We first have to send the accept/decline form back and upon receipt of that then UCONN will send a registration form. That's when you have to send in the deposit check with the completed registration form. Thank you for pointing that out!

Okay awesome, thanks for reassuring me haha. Just wanted to make sure I didn't misread or forget to send the deposit on time :)

Hi everyone! im currently a sophomore at uconn (undergrad) i definitely want to apply to UCONN's accelerated nursing program when I graduate. I was wondering what your gpa's were?

My undergrad gpa is 3.9 and my nursing pre-reqs gpa is 4.0, however gpa is only one part of what nursing schools consider.

Hello, everyone! I'm applying to the CEIN program for the June deadline, hoping to get a spot at Stamford...this might be an odd question, but does anyone have a copy of the essay questions from the application? I wanted to start work on them, but the application is down on the website. I emailed the program but they told me to wait until the application is back up.

I applied on February 6th for the Stamford campus and I was accepted on March 18th! I'm super excited!

I am planning to attend an orientation session at the Avery Point today. Any advice what are good questions to ask ? :) Or anyone else have a question/concern that would like me to ask and then share?
