  1. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
  2. BTW, I was accepted before but the letter about the deposit came only on the September 12th. Orientation is scheduled for 10/13. So I am pretty sure you may get some news after 9/26. Don't loose the hope!!!
  3. It is September 26th.
  4. Thank you! Completing questions at the end of each chapter is part of the assignment now and some of them are difficult. I feel better now!
  5. Thank you! We don't have quizzes, just unit tests and final test. We are provided sample unit test that we can try prior taking real unit test. I am ok with the questions about the material in the book, however some of the problems we need to solve at the end of each chapter takes up a lot of time and not all is covered in the chapter so I was getting concerned. It would be terrible if I fail
  6. Hi, I have a question for those who took Genetics online (QVCC). Were the tests questions the same type like the problems in the book?
  7. Congratulations! I am going to AP too!
  8. Pink_rose2 do not loose your hope! I think anyone who was not offered a spot yet maybe reconsider as some people change their minds and do not accept the offer.
  9. Congratulations! Yes, there is a group, just google UCONN CEIN 2018
  10. Good for you, I did not get my letter yet. I was told they will be selling MDF kits but we have an option to buy our own. Two preferred brands are MDF and Littmann (I did little research online). As well, we will need blood pressure cuff, penlight, Kelly clamp, watch and Iclicker. Nobody shared the list of the books yet, however, I am not planning to buy until the orientation on Oct 13. It maybe some changes in what they want us to use so I will wait and then shop around. There is a facebook group for CEIN 2018 if you haven't join it yet.
  11. I got my NetID this morning! :) Finally things a re moving forward. I eager to know more about financial aid too. From UCONN site: Financial Aid Checklist Complete the FAFSA: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at Home - FAFSA on the Web - Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA becomes available on October 1. Students must complete a FAFSA each academic year. Enter UConn's Federal School Code, 001417, on the FAFSA for all campuses. The FAFSA must be received by the Federal Processor on or before the on-time FAFSA application deadline. The awarding of most forms of University of Connecticut financial assistance is reserved for applications received and logged in by the federal processor on or before the on time application deadline. Please note that all awards are based upon funds availability. Continuing students who applied for financial aid this past year should have received a FSA ID issued by the U.S. Department of Education. If you and/or your parent need to apply for an FSA ID, go to https://fsaid.ed.gov. For further information about completing the FAFSA, click here. So I assume the first step, they need to add us as accepted students. And if you noticed, FAFSA becomes available on October first. I had it open from before so I just added UCONN as a school on my FAFSA application but I do not expect anything to happen until 10/1/17. The only thing we will have to pay now is $500 deposit. Then later it will be university fee ($1700), books, supplies and so on. I believe tuition will be due closer to the January.
  12. Yes, all of it was on the health check list that they sent to us in July. If any of you did not receive the list (it was suppose to come as an attachment), I suggest contacting Dorine, she was very helpful and emailed it to me. As well, PPD is double step, I did not catch it nor my nurse did, thankfully someone else pointed out.
  13. No, the cycle ended. If you need to re-apply/didn't finish the application they give you an option to pick up were you left, I assuming it would transfer all the info to the new cycle.
  14. Email Amelia, her email is on the checklist, she helped me out a lot! I assume they want most recent titers so those prob you will have to redo, plus ppd must be recent as well. As it comes to the physical, talk to your insurance, maybe they will make an exception. If not, talk to UCONN and explain. They mentioned in the email that they would like to enter all information to the data bank in October so I assume it's the main reason they want us to be done by the October 13th.
  15. Did you guys get your student IDs yet? I was wondering how fast is it emailed after signed acceptance letter is sent to them.
