UCLA Summer 2019 New Grad Residency

Hi everyone,

Just starting a thread for all of us who've applied for UCLA's summer residency program.

What units did you apply to? Internal? External? Good luck everyone! ?

Hey!

does anyone know what to expect from the second interviews? Is it a sit down interview like the first one just with different people?? If anyone has had there second interview already I’d love some advice.

Oh yay! ☺️ How did your staff interview go? I’m not quite sure how many did second rounds, but I did see one other person after me! It might have been you! Haha but I did ask them for a time line and they said they’re not quite sure bc they don’t know how many they’re going to take yet and that the program is going to roughly start around August/September. Best of luck to you too!

Hi! Has anyone received an invite or already completed a second interview for MICU RR? I’m just wondering if they’re running late or already done with interviews? Thanks! ?

Hey. I received a second interview for MICU RR. My second interview is scheduled for next week. Hopefully they let you know soon and you get it!!

Omg I just received an email for a second round of interviews! I’m so nervous I was not expecting them to have a second interview! They said it would be panel interview and campus tour. I’m sooo friggin nervous I have no idea what I’ll be asked and it says from 12-3 like whatt??? Is that how long the interview will be? I’m so nervous hahah

Yay! Congratulation!! what unit was it for?! because I got a second interview too but they gave me NO information about what the format will be like etc.

It went well! I thought it was pretty casual. During my first interview she said they were looking at hiring 6!
