UCLA Summer 2019 New Grad Residency

Published

Hi everyone,

Just starting a thread for all of us who've applied for UCLA's summer residency program.

What units did you apply to? Internal? External? Good luck everyone! ?

omg really?! do you know what units these one-interview job offers were for?

I read somewhere on the thread/forum that some people only got one interview for certain units.

I sadly got a rejection email on Friday ? but Congratulations to you! Wishing you a great start in their team!

Hello everyone,

just wondering if anyone else heard back from 5MN? Anyone see anything on Facebook or here saying they received rejection letters or anything? Thank you!

I heard one person got a call back, but haven't heard from anyone else at this point.

Anyone heard anything from RR 8ICU?

It's great going through all of these threads and seeing the journey through the application process. I know it was a rollercoaster of emotion for all of you. I'm a little over a year away from going through this myself but I have a question for the out-of-state applicants. How are you liking Los Angeles? Does the salary allow you to afford adequate housing? Is the residency program providing a good training opportunity for you? Thanks and congrats to all who made it.

For those of you invited for interview, etc....do you all have a BSN as a new grad? I am graduating from LACONAH which is only a 2 year / AS program. By the time I earn a BSN I will no longer be considered a new grad. Thanks.

UCLA's program requires a BSN or MSN to participate in their New grad residency. I've asked about AS/ADN's applying and they seem to be pretty strict with their BSN/MSN requirement.
