UCLA Summer 2019 New Grad Residency

Hi everyone,

Just starting a thread for all of us who've applied for UCLA's summer residency program.

What units did you apply to? Internal? External? Good luck everyone! ?

I am an internal applicant and had an interview last week for 5MN!

I am DYINGGGG I wish they could tell us right away whether were hired or not, because my anxiety is over the roof!! lol

I'm sure everyone around me is sick of hearing about it and its only been like 5 days lol

Had my interview last week, received an email for a second interview in two weeks!! How is everyones interview going??

Do all units have 2 interviews?

Hii me too! I had an interview with 5MN last week! Do you know if they have a second interview? or how many they're hiring. lol. I'm an internal applicant as well.

They dont have a 2nd interview. Most of them dont. i asked them how many they're hiring and they said " hopefully more than one" i was like what??? lol did they tell you when they would let us know? i wish i wouldve asked smh the paper they told us says like 2 months! i know they know who theyre going to hire by the end of that day lol

Omgg can they just hire all of us lol noo they said that the recruiter will contact me about it so crossing my fingers!!

I have my interview tomorrow and I'm getting so nervous. How was your interview? Do you mind sharing what they asked?

each unit asks you different things mine asked me specific things that were on my resume and they ask like personality type things.. youll be fine its very casual

Had my interview today. Apparently they are sadists because they won’t tell us until end of JULY if we got it ??

Thanks for the reply btw! I didn't get to read it until after my interview and lemme tell ya how I was a mess after the interview, hence, the blank reply ? But my interview went a little unexpected haha so the prep that I did for the interview didn't even help at aaaaall. They threw a lot of curved balls that my brain was just ? If anything, most of the questions were not the typical interview questions you'd hear. But I thought it went better than anticipated but who knows? They said I'll hear back from HR in 2-3 weeks.

For those who got interviewed, did they take all the necessary docs that they required you to bring for the interview (resume, CV, transcript, certs, portfolio, etc)?

I interviewed for OR Santa Monica btw.
