I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.

Called the office today to ask about 8 ICU and apparently they are interviewing more people now. She said that for those whose applications are not closed yet and still in review, we still have a good chance. Let's hope!

Bruh....are you kidding? That’s so frustrating. I just wish they’d reject me if they didn’t want me. I got an offer from Mayo Clinic in Arizona in their icu but I’ve been waiting to pull that trigger till I hear back from 8icu. Do you think I should call?

The program starts in March, right? Let's just hope and pray to baby Jesus.

Do you know if this is true for all units? My peds app updated yesterday again and still no word lol ??‍♀️

@bkhash6 wow that is unfortunate! sorry to hear your situation, but I know that Mayo Clinic is also super great and that would suck to pass on...

@KN4444 I'm not sure if this is true for all units, sorry. I only called the office to ask about the 8ICU but you can call them and they are very responsive! I would call the office and ask specifically about peds.

@jmroh what phone number did you call? I’ve calling the talent acquisition number but I haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone. It always go straight to voicemail.

I haven’t been invited for interviews and mine got updated again 1/14/19. I don’t even know why I keep checking. Congrats to everyone who got an offer!!! I’m assuming next round starts like May/June for start date of like August? Does Anyone know?
