I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.

For those who haven't received an invite, HR said they will be sending everyone a final email by the end of this week to let you know if you will be considered as a candidate or they move on to someone else. Also said, the first round of interviews start next week.

Do you know if that means today since it’s a long weekend? Or literally by Sunday?

They said by the end of the week, Friday.

Thanks for the update. I’m 99% sure that I didn’t get an interview now just because my top two units have already invited people and if I didn’t hear from them after my profile was updated, that sounds like a no. But! If the people who are interviewing can kindly come back to this page and share your experiences, questions etc, so we can know for the next cohort, that’ll be amazing!

HR said we will be notified either with a rejection or still being considered by Friday. It’ll be an automated email. She also mentioned interviews will be the first two weeks, so I’m unsure if there will be a second wave of interviews. Is anyone familiar with this? Plus how can they be done with sending out invites if barely anyone got peds and medsurg? this wait sucks.

Someone mentioned interviews were only first 2 weeks of December ?

Specializes in SICU.

Out of state applicant here with an interview with 8ICU on 12/03.

Anyone else interviewing on 8ICU here by chance know how many applicants they plan on offering/taking?
