UCLA New Graduate Residency Winter 2019-2020

I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.

Yeah I saw on fb that neurotrauma 6 icu sent invites last week. But idk how it works, maybe they’ll interview half first and if they don’t really feel like it was a good fit, maybe interview the other half too?

Someone in a group I'm in on Facebook posted that they got an interview with Neurotrauma ICU. The unit is RR 6ICU.

If only they would send out all emails at the same time instead of little batches. It would make things less stressful. Is your status still the same?

i wonder if anyone has went from “in review” to rejected. I really hope in review guarantees at least an interview

Right.. I feel like In review was just HR doing an initial okay, and with the unit manager they go through all the in review people and pick which people they want to interview. Bc my top two choices have already sent out invites from what I’m reading but my application still says in review but no interview nor rejection email yet. So I’m trying to stay positive but also telling myself it’s most likely not happening this time.

Yeah my status is still the same, since Oct 27th.....med surg was my second choice.. Also, hoping for an interview but also being realistic?‍♀️

@foreverprenursing I’m still waiting to hear back. Med surg was my first choice.

@Corgifluff is your status in review too?? I called HR and they said invites are being sent up to next Wednesday. So there is still a chance.
