UCLA New Grad Winter 2026 Cohort

Published

hi guys! I'm starting this thread for the Winter 2026 Cohort at UCLA Health since the application opened up yesterday (9/5)! feel free to update on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

good luck everyone ❤️

Just got an email last night that my application got sent to the hiring manager! I applied for OR and med surge. Hoping for good news in a couple of days!

Also just heard from mass yesterday that even just a mustard seed of faith can make a huge impact then wait for something good to happen. Hoping that helps other people losing faith right now

I also got an email last night about my app being forwarded to the hiring manager. I applied for ED and medsurg.

Has anyone been called for an interview or any update other than the "sent to hiring manager" email?

Not yet!

Nope! My application JUST changed to In Review today. So I'm hoping to get an interview invite in a couple weeks 🙏

I'm losing hope! My application is still in "submitted" status! Anyone else?

yes me too 😞 applied to adult ICU and medsurg and I have all the qualifications so I thought I would at least get to the interview stage but I'm not sure now

For everyone saying they're losing hope, don't give up just yet! They look at every application before making a decision. I'm not sure of which order they send applications in to each specialty, but every applicant gets a fair chance!

It's just a long process. They are a lot slower than other hospitals because they get so many applications. They haven't even started setting up interviews yet.

I think most of the internal applicants are still in "submitted" as they haven't even looked at our applications yet.

Hi, I'm an internal applicant, and it still says "submitted." All my friends that are external status changed. I think internals must be last too.

Yeah it's surprising because, from what I've seen, other hospitals usually process internal candidates first. My logic is that we need the least amount of onboarding time since they already have all of our info on file.

I definitely think we're still only in the beginning stages of the process and there's no need for anyone to start panicking.
