UCLA New Grad Summer 2012 program

To any one that has signed their paperwork AND moving to LA...is relocation assistance ($$$) offered???

I have not signed paperwork yet. However, I did contact HR regarding relocation assistance and they offer up to $1500 for expenses (hotel, plane ticket or gas, car rental, food, shipping and first months rent) but everything needs to be purchased in your name. They told me to bring the receipts to the HR dept some time after my first day to fill out the paperwork and they would then reimburse me. Im coming from out of state- not sure if that makes a difference. Hope that helps! Ps: did you already sign paperwork? I have yet to hear anything...

Thanks so much for the info! Guess I'll contact HR about this too to know if I qualify for this since I currently live about 300+ miles from ucla.

Hi! Anyone hear from HR yet to schedule an appointment day to fill out paperwork?

My UD called me last wednesdat and told me that july 20 is my new hire paperwork session, i have to call HR for time. aug 13 is hospital orientation, 14-15 nursing orientation, and 22-23 computer orientation. I'll call him back this coming week to ask about when physical is or if I have to schedule that myself.

Is anybody else looking for apartments?

I'm looking into 2bed/2bath apartments near UCLA. I'm looking in the Brentwood area. I live an hours drive away from UCLA so I need a place closer to UCLA. :)

OR director just emailed me. she said they are contacting all of the candidates through the end of the week to update them on the status of their interest in the position.
