Did anyone schedule a physical/immunization review with occupational health yet? I tried calling a couple times, left one message and another time the phone just kept ringing. Anyone get through?

she did not mention the method of contact. no second interviews.

OR director just emailed me. she said they are contacting all of the candidates through the end of the week to update them on the status of their interest in the position.

To those who interviewed for the OR, do you have any experience in the OR (i.e., preceptorship, class, etc)?

HR said to wait for an e-mail that they will send to all new grads.

My UD emailed me about starting dates. The hosp/nurs orientation dates are August 13th to the 15th. However, my computer training dates are different so I'm assuming those vary for everyone. I was also told that there would be New Grad Core Classes on Sept 5th and 6th.

Just talked to my UD. ICU SM starts Aug 20th. Looks like every unit is different. In terms of paperwork and physical you will be receiving an email soon with dates to choose from to come and complete it. :)

I did not have an OR preceptorship, but I did participate in several surgeries in my other clinical rotations. AN1324 did you get accepted? I did, thanks for the information earlier it was definitely a long wait.

unfortunately i didn't =(. i think the lack of OR experience is why i didn't get picked.

You should check out the VA, they are hiring new grads right now.
