To those moving to LA.. have you guys found an apartment to live at? What areas do you suggest? Affordable, but not too bad.

It depends what you deem as affordable. I've been looking at west Hollywood and studio city and one bedrooms range from 1200-2200 depending on amenities in the building.

so expensive huh. i think i'll look at craigslist as well to share bigger apts.

I am moving from San Francisco. What about you?? I havent scheduled yet. I was told to wait for HR to get back to me in order to schedule a date. Have you heard otherwise?

I'm moving from Nor Cal too (Modesto area). I also haven't scheduled yet but my director sent me paperwork to sign via e-mail and one of the papers was about pre-employment scheduling tool. we have to sched for immunization review and physical and new hire paperwork session.

Oh wow! Maybe I should call HR/my UD.... which unit did you get hired into??

I got hired into 7N CCU/COU in RR. My director just called me yesterday to give me the offer and then he sent me the paperwork a few minutes later, which I signed, scanned, and emailed back to him.

I still have to call to schedule though. The paper says New Hire Paperwork sessions are offered 4 times per week. Tues & Thurs 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

"You will need to attend one session only. Please keep this appointment in mind when scheduling your Immunization Review and Physical"
