I followed up with HR a few weeks ago, but I plan on following up later this week if I don't hear anything. So did you not get an interview? The UD told me he was interviewing 15!!!
I didn't get an interview for MICU, but had an interview for coronary care icu (CCU)/COU. Just waiting to hear back again next Monday and hoping for the best.
And yeah, good idea on following up this week. however, why on HR? Did the UD not give his contact info?
The weirdest thing just happend. I got a call from the unit director of the liver transplant ICU saying that she hasn't made all final decisions yet and that she will definetely call by the end of this month. What even more odd is that I told her how I got the rejection email, and she wasLike disregard it because she hasn't finished makin her decisions. I don't even know what to do now, I'm getting ready to move to Baltimore for my johns Hopkins job next week. So confused about what to do...
wow, that sure is hard especially since ucla is your first choice. hmm i would be so confused too. when do you start working at johns hopkins?
Hmm which of your thoughts are stronger? waiting until end of May for UCLA decisions or move next week?
I'm from soCal and left to go to nursing school in Illinois, Ideally I absolutely want to stay in california. Based on that, UCLA is definetely my first choice. However, Johns Hopkins is the number 1 Hospital in the Nation, it would be an absolute honor to work there as well....I think I'm going to wait till the end of may for UCLA, hopefully they offer me a position! then I'll be calling Hopkins to rescind my offer...if UCLA doesn't call me, Baltimore here I come!! hahaha
