UCLA New Grad Spring 2024

Hi I recently applied for the Spring 2024 cohort and didn't see a thread yet. How is everyone's application going?

Congrats! I didn't, it still says In Review. I don't think I made it. It was my first time applying to a program and interviewing + I've applied to other programs too so I haven't lost hope yet! Good luck, I'm sincerely happy for you.

I've accepted that I did not get in so I'm trying to apply to other places. What are hospitals everyone else is applying to? (I've applied to northridge, California Health Medical center, CHLA to name a few and haven't gotten a call back for an interview…) I am just hoping to get a job at a hospital that will train me as a new graduate

Just checked my application status for RR main OR and it's changed to "interview/onboarding" ?? hopefully I get a call soon

For those that got offers, do you already have your RN license? I wonder if maybe that is a deciding factor if someone still needs to take the test and pass before the cohort starts

My neighbors daughter got an offer but she graduates this month.

Hi everyone! Congrats to everyone who has received an offer thus far!! 

I interviewed on 11/6 for Med Surg 8W, RR & haven't heard back yet. I thought the interview went pretty well- they had positive feedback and gave me the rundown of pt population on the wing/ how to set my days up for success. That being said, I haven't gotten any news & my app status is still "in review." Has anyone who interviewed for Med Surg 8W RR heard back yet? @AM09 @discolights I believe I read that you both interviewed for 8W. Any luck for either of you?

Same, I thought it was a good interview. I haven't heard back. They did mention that Dec 8 is the last day offers to be sent. So maybe they're waiting till the very last day? Hopefully LOL. Mine still says "In Review"

That's why I'm lowkey like waiting before I do anything else with any other job, because with my luck, I'll accept the job and then like the next minute later I'll get a letter offer from UCLA LOL

I have not heard back. App says in review so I'm assuming I did not get position. Do you know how many positions they have available ?
