Nope! I'll check again around 6pm, but I'm just going to continue the job hunt. I'm bummed I'm mostly likely not getting an offer- but I think it's important to just take it all as a learning lesson. Reflect on areas for improvement (interview-wise) and remember your worth! We are all smart, capable, and caring humans. There are other hospitals we can learn and grow from too. Keep ya head up everyone <3

Yeah. They told me Dec 8 was the last day for offers to be sent too. Did you by any chance ask how many spots were open during your interview? I did not- but I remember there were 8 interview slots total when signing up for interviews. Fingers crossed we both get it!

Hi everyone! Congrats to everyone who has received an offer thus far!! I interviewed on 11/6 for Med Surg 8W, RR & haven't heard back yet. I thought the interview went pretty well- they had positive feedback and gave me the rundown of pt population on the wing/ how to set my days up for success. That being said, I haven't gotten any news & my app status is still "in review." Has anyone who interviewed for Med Surg 8W RR heard back yet? @AM09 @discolights I believe I read that you both interviewed for 8W. Any luck for either of you?

Does anyone know how many clinical hours are offered in total for the ABSN Fall program? I just got accepted for San Mateo as well!

Yeah, that’s a great idea! ☺️ I’m down for whatever! We just have to figure out a way to connect with each other, without flat out putting our personal info on the Interwebs for everyone to read forever LOL. Does anyone know if we can send private messages to ppl via this platform? (It’s my first time using all nurses.com).

@MandBMommy thank you! Please keep me posted on her response. I'm down for whatever, but prefer in-person. Super excited for clinicals ? Should we start a FB group for ppl who accept the offer? I don't use FB too often, but also don't wanna bombard this thread w lots of emails LOL.

I hope they aren't online ? Did anyone ask about this during interviews? I meant to but forgot. I do know that clinicals start the first week of the program. We will get lots of hours too! ~390 inpatient & 140 outpatient. @JillAnneB I don't think they've posted orientation info yet. When you view your application/see the acceptance info, there are 4 tabs- last one is regarding mandatory orientation & says dates will be announced soon.

I'm happy everyone on this forum got good news today ☺️?? Would anyone happen to know which campus the ABSN program is held on? MSMU has two: the Chalon (near the Getty) and the Doheny (near USC). I'll be moving & want to start looking into apartments ?

@nursejeli did you receive that information via email? I got my evaluation score on 4/5/22, but haven't received a decision yet. I've been checking under the "communication center" in the portal since that is where the welcome letter is. Should I be looking elsewhere?

Hi everyone!! I’m so happy there is a thread for this program! I originally chose my interview date for the AM of 4/23, but received an email the week before saying my date/time had to be rescheduled! Ended up having the interview 4/16, and I thought it went well! I was a bit nervous too- I interviewed with a professor/RN & the ABSN director! Both were really sweet, informative & welcoming! They told me decisions could come out as early as 1st week of May- so fingers crossed we hear back soon! Good luck to everyone- hope to meet you all ?
