UCLA New Grad RN 2013

Hello to all prospective UCLA Nurses!

My name is Matthew and I'm a CSU Long Beach alumnus.

I'm currently working as a Super User RN for the UCLA Health System.

I hope this thread will be able to answer our questions about the application, interview process and a place for any updates anyone receives for the 2013 new grad program.

With that said, I was told by recruitment that applications will be made available in March. :)

I hope they have a period of application for externals

I was a super user at UCLA and the Spring new grad program is only open to internals

Hello everyone! UCLA will be having a Summer New grad program. Here's the info:

New Grad RN Program-Summer 2013

We will begin accepting Summer 2013 New Graduate applications on June 10, 2013 through June 16, 2013. The program will begin in September/October 2013.

We will offer opportunities at the following locations:

•Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood

•UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica

•UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital

•Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA.

Opportunities are available in our ICU’s, PICU, NICU, Pediatrics, L&D, Intermediate Care areas, Medical Surgery Specialty Units and Psych.

Applicants must have graduated from a registered nursing program (BSN preferred) within 12 months of starting the program.

Once you complete the online application, you will need to submit/upload the following when applying to this position:

• Cover Letter

• Resume

• Two Letters of Recommendation

•To be provided at the interview * Transcripts (Unofficial transcripts will be accepted.)
