Hello all,

I'm sure by now a lot of you have 1. received an offer/rejection from UCLA, 2. Still in the process of interviewing, 3. Awaiting response from UCLA regarding your position. I have only read the posts here and this is my first time replying. I was waitlisted and contacted for an interview on the 14th of April for a position in a Cardiac/Step-down Unit. I was informed that HR will contact me. I called HR and the UD while waiting and waiting until finally giving up last week. It has been more than a month. Surprisingly, I received an email this morning for an offer. Which I still am in complete shock.

Don't give up. Even if your awaiting a response. I feel very fortunate as this was my first interview for a position while finishing up nursing school. I know it's VERY tough to keep positive and convince yourself to keep on going, but do so. My faith and the support of my girlfriend got me through this tough situation. And I urge all you to never give up your dreams because someone out there, if not UCLA, will give you a chance.

Best wishes,

AceRN21

I'm still waiting for a response. this wait is really killing me. I had my interview on April 26th and now I'm starting to give up hopes! I hope to hear something anytime soon or at least by the end of this week. :(

Me too! The wait is driving me crazy. My iPhone is on the hip 24-7!

Any one else waiting to hear back from Acute Pediatrics? Still haven't heard anything yet and starting to get a bad feeling that I did not get the job since some people already have heard back :( Trying to stay positive though!
