Any one else waiting to hear back from Acute Pediatrics? Still haven't heard anything yet and starting to get a bad feeling that I did not get the job since some people already have heard back :( Trying to stay positive though!

still no news over here either... i've called an emailed but no replies.

Hello all,

I'm sure by now a lot of you have 1. received an offer/rejection from UCLA, 2. Still in the process of interviewing, 3. Awaiting response from UCLA regarding your position. I have only read the posts here and this is my first time replying. I was waitlisted and contacted for an interview on the 14th of April for a position in a Cardiac/Step-down Unit. I was informed that HR will contact me. I called HR and the UD while waiting and waiting until finally giving up last week. It has been more than a month. Surprisingly, I received an email this morning for an offer. Which I still am in complete shock.

congradulations! I accepted an offer on the Cardiac Stepdown Unit, too (on May 8th)!!! So funny how they spread out these offers?

Just to confirm, did you interview with D.F.? yay, hope to see you soon!

Just notified last night by senior nurse recruiter that Acute Pediatrics is not moving any farther in their hiring process. She said that this year was one of the most competitive application pools they've ever had. Oh well! I guess I will have to move on now! She did tell me for anyone interested that the application date for the next cohort will be posted in August! Good luck to everyone else still waiting for other units!

is the UD of liver/surg ICU gonna call everyone regardless of whether they got the job or not?

She did not ask. She missed the phone call first and the UD left her a message. Then my daughter called her back. She was given a week to decide. SO happy for her, that was her dream school in 2007. Now she will be in their RN Residency! :redpinkhe
