No one's been posting. I wonder if people have gotten calls..??

It seems like the people who have scheduled interviews are for the ICU. My friend was also called for the neuro ICU. I applied for ER and OR. Has anyone gotten calls for those departments???

I'm so anxious. I'm having nightmares and I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack!! :smackingf

This anticipation is making us all nervous wrecks! :uhoh3:

I applied to Peds/PICU/NICU. I have yet to receive a call. It would be great if anyone outside of ICU would let us know if they have been called for an interview.

And... congratulations to all those that have interviews already scheduled!!!

BSN I live in wv..so I haven't had any rotations at ucla...

I just spoke to someone in HR. She said that they are going to make call till then end of this week into next week. She said they are currently making calls for all units with the exception of med surg. She also said that if you have not received a call by Dec it is safe to assume that you have not moved forward in the process.

I applied to NICU/Peds/PICU. I haven't been called either. My phone has not left my side for the past week! IF I ever receive a call, I will definitely let you guys know.

Good luck everyone!

I now know of someone that applied to Peds/PICU/NICU that has been scheduled to interview. She got the call this afternoon around 1pm.

do you know what unit she will be interviewing for?

Sorry... I didn't ask. She is a classmate of my niece.

If they applied to Peds/PICU/NICU, in that order, they most likely will interview for the first choice. (But don't quote me, UCLA may have changed their process from the last cohort; I applied last spring to the PICU as my first choice, got an interview but did not make it to the panel interview).

I changed my first choice to NICU this time after precepting there. (The unit, NOT at UCLA).

Hoping for the best!

When you said you "got an interview", are you referring to the phone interview? Just wondering... From what I learned from talking to two different HR reps, the process has changed. It also appears that they only selected a few people per unit based on each unit's needs/openings.

The two people I know that have been called both have in-person interviews
