hahah I was one of those callers calling in. She said to be patient. With my experience and preceptorship I would probably be considered for M/S Step-down.

I didn't aks how many they are going to hire. A friend called HR and was told that there was over 1500 applicants to the program.

did they say if they were done with nov 9th interview calls?

I didn't ask.

Any Peds/PICU/NICU get calls for an interview?

Hmmm not sure if I buy the "several hundred" interviews... They're conducting interviews over a period of 3-4 days and I'm not sure if each unit director will have time to see "several hundred" in a short span. I might e-mail the recruiter to confirm.

agree

I called HR. They said that they ask that everyone be patient as they have "several hundred" calls to make. Wow... several hundred!

unless its group interviews.. (i hope not) has anyone interviewed with UCLA before?

Hmm I don't think it's a group interview... I've had friends who interviewed there. Also when I got a call from HR yesterday, I was told that it's a one on one with a unit manager. Unless she led me astray.

My friend had a group interview with a panel. Ugh.

ya i called them asking if they were done with ICU and ER interviews & she said she could not disclose that information.. i also asked if they would update our online application status and they said they wouldnt be changing anything until december

Does anyone know how long the interview will be? Mine is at 8:30.

lol I think the worst part is not even knowing! I'd prefer to know one way or the other if I'm gonna be interviewd or not  but it should be safe to say if we don't hear in a week or two, we didn't get picked for an interview. Still keeping my fingers crossed!

ps if anyone applied for peds/picu/nicu and got a phone call, please let us know! That way I won't be sitting by phone for the next two weeks :)
