Hello fellow nurses,

I just recently turned in my application for UCLA's MSN/FNP program. Has anyone else applied?

Thank you

I did Physio thru UCLA extension..definitely the way to go! I am finishing up my last week of it. It's a good prep for the real deal in the fall!

Congrats guys! I have to take Physical Assessment in the Summer and I just finished with Physio online through UCLA Extension.

If you haven't joined the Facebook group, join us! I believe it's under UCLA MSN/APN 2015 Cohort.

Can't wait till orientation in July!

Has anyone applied as a Post-Masters FNP applicant and heard back yet?

So what departments have heard back from UCLA? Acute care adult, FNP, and??

There are a few PNP's who received notices.

@passion8nurse[COLOR=#000000]. chiming in here, I applied to MECN program, which was my first choice, but didn't get accepted unfortunately. I took the UCLA extension class with him too! I highly recommend his class as well. He is an excellent teacher, well organized, I learned a lot, and I still use his slides to study. He also wrote me a recommendation which helped me get into very good nursing schoolsarrow-10x10.png. I remember he briefly mentioned about a MECN classmate who took physiology with him. Not sure how I missed there was an FB group already set up. Signing up now. :) Anyone else sign up for the research class for the summer session?

Glad to hear the course is going well for you. I was going to take it at UCLA when I found out they have it, but when I finally got around to checking a few days ago, the course is full. I'm finishing my last few weeks of physical assessment (it was a prereq for another school) and then I'll enroll in the UCB Physio class. =)

Does anyone know what our schedules will be like? For the whole 2 years? Like, what days of the week are most class days on?

I applied as a Post-Masters FNP applicant and still have not heard back either. I emailed them about 4 weeks ago and they said they have not even looked at our applications yet. So I'm guessing all the poster master applicatants are last picks. They said we would get a notice probably late March to April =(. The anxiety is killing me =x

Congrats to everyone that got in so far!

I also applied post masters fnp and have not heard back yet. First choice is UCSF and haven't heard back from them either! Been checking email everyday. Hope the physio classes don't run out!
