Hi sstephe2, I'm not familiar with the Acute Care program but from what I remember from one of the information sessions, they admitted somewhere between 14-20 last year. There was a thread for last year (UCLA MSN 2014) check that out. Hopefully it will give you more info. To check your status, go to the page where you submitted your application and instead of logging in, look below for the "Decision Status Login." There you will be able to check your status. I hope you get in!!

I'm a mom and will be working while going to school. I plan to work part-time and keep my per diem job as well. As for support, I've got my mom to help out sometimes and of course my husband. I'm considering on moving closer to campus but we'll see.

Yes, I would say that it was straight forward and fair. Depending on how long it's been since you last Physiology, if you remember some stuff you should be ok, but don't rely on this class to completely teach you the fundamentals of Physio. I don't have to take the Research class but I believe usc2grn mentioned that he has to take it. A few of us are on the Facebook group, join us if you can.

I just completed Physio through UCLA extension - Foundations in Human Physiology (Online) X 452.6 with Dr. Judith Halle. Good class! I just sent my request to take the Physical Assessment class - Lab A.

I GOT IN!!!!! Ever since the acceptance notices were sent out on Saturday I've been checking my status every hour, and my status was always in the "no decision has been made.." mode and 30 minutes ago I checked and I got the link to my acceptance letter! I did not receive an email to check my status. For those who haven't heard anything, don't lose hope.

Anybody on the wait list? I was reading the MECN thread and a few applicants have been notified. Hoping for good news!

Glad to hear your passed! At least it's over and done with. That sucks about your transcripts. I'd call UCLA again and ask what would happen. Hopefully they'll receive it soon!
