Hello fellow nurses,
I just recently turned in my application for UCLA's MSN/FNP program. Has anyone else applied?
Thank you
Glad to hear you had a good experience with the online class. Was it pretty straight forward and fair? I plan to submit my paperwork today and will request either Lab A or B. Are you (or anyone else) going to enroll in the research class for summer session also?Congrats to everyone! It gets more and more exciting =)

Yes, I would say that it was straight forward and fair. Depending on how long it's been since you last Physiology, if you remember some stuff you should be ok, but don't rely on this class to completely teach you the fundamentals of Physio.
I don't have to take the Research class but I believe usc2grn mentioned that he has to take it.
A few of us are on the Facebook group, join us if you can.
Any moms out there who will also be working while starting the program? How will you find support?
I'm a mom and will be working while going to school. I plan to work part-time and keep my per diem job as well. As for support, I've got my mom to help out sometimes and of course my husband.
I'm considering on moving closer to campus but we'll see.
Where is everyone planning to take the physiology course? I was going to do it through the UC Berkeley extension but I just saw that UCLA has an extension course also.
I am currently taking physiology online through UC Berkeley Extension. I did not know that UCLA Extension had the same course. I would have taken it at UCLA instead. UC Berkeley's course is self paced but you have 6 months to complete the course. The final needs to be proctored. I am enjoying the course so far, and it is a good review.
Hi all,I need to retake Physio class and i prefer online and how does the Lab portion of the class work? I remember when I first took physio 5 years ago, it had lab class with it. Please advise! thanks :)
My online physiology course doesn't require "lab time" but there are case studies that we have to do and post discussion questions. The case studies are usually 4-6 questions long.
