UCLA MSN Fall 2015

Published

Hello fellow nurses,

I just recently turned in my application for UCLA's MSN/FNP program. Has anyone else applied?

Thank you

I couldn't stand the wait and went online to find that I, too, have been accepted! Can't wait to meet everyone! Anyone know when the assessment class will start and how long it lasts?

@sugarlips Where can we check if we've been accepted? Thanks!

Congratulations Sugarlips!

Congrats to all who got in! My letter didn't indicate the date we have to send in our reply by... It said the date is indicated in the letter we receieved from our specific department. I applied to the FNP program but haven't gotten a letter specifically from them. Does anyone know the deadline?

I checked the status on the grad application page when you log back into the UCLA site.

Has anyone who applied for FNP not heard yet? I applied, and i haven't gotten an email and my status still says submitted

Hi all!

I applied to the Acute NP program, it seems from what I am hearing and seeing from people that it's the FNP's hearing first? or maybe I am totally wrong! The wait is tedious! Ever since I heard that people started getting letters, I keep checking my email like a looney!

Any of you acute NP applicants out there heard anything?

I applied for the FNP program and I found out on Saturday.

I have created a FB page titled UCLA MSN/APN 2015 cohort for all of that are starting this year.

Anybody on the wait list? I was reading the MECN thread and a few applicants have been notified.

Hoping for good news!

Rejected :(. Oh well! Still waiting on other schools. Out of curiosity, do the people who got in have years of work experience? I applied to go straight through (I'm finishing up my BSN and graduate in May). It seemed to me like the UC schools want people with work experience.

Sorry to hear, jns1md!! I was denied by Duke and the feeling of rejection isn't very good!! But everything happens for a reason; you will be where you are meant to be! I have 5 years experience. Which other schools are you waiting on? I'm still waiting on CSULB. Congrats on finishing your BSN!!
