Hi friends!
Anyone applying to the UCLA MSN-Advanced Practice program for Fall 2014? I applied for the FNP program. I figured we could use this thread to chat and update each other!
Thanks!

Does anyone know how we retrieve acceptance, waitlist or rejection notifications? I think for acceptance, it will be through regular post. For the latter two, does anyone know if it is the same or will it be sent out through email/login? Thanks in advance!come on mid/late april, we're maxing out our patience meter!

Hi. From what I've read from previous posts, rejection gets posted earlier on the decision log-in page before they get it thru snail mail. Yet, some others get their rejection letters thru snail mail at the same time it gets posted online. So really, it's hard to tell which ones come first.
At UCSF, they email the waitlist applicants first, then the "no, you're not in, and yes you are in" next. Don't know if that applies to UCLA as well.
You have to apply for fellowships to be considered, but they are pretty limited and hard to come by. Here is a website with some fellowship info: Financial Aid for MSN - Advanced Practice Program | UCLA School of Nursing. Contact Craig Kusunoki at the SON (director of financial aid) for more info.
Sorry if this is a stupid question but what is a fellowship? Is it for people that are accepted into the program? I'll try contacting the director of financial aid and get more info.
I did!--This morning..and Mark Covin stated it was a few weeks. I asked if it mattered that other schools had deadlines of intent to enroll before then and he said there was no way to know earlier. He also said the fellowship was based on the diversity statement we applied for with our application and not FAFSA.
@Matthew--were you the one who answered my lung question in class last week?
