Anyone applying to the UCLA MSN-Advanced Practice program for Fall 2014? I applied for the FNP program. I figured we could use this thread to chat and update each other!

Decisions have already been made. MC has told me for sure notifications will be sent out in April. Oh the tortuous wait!

Emailed Rhonda- she said decisions would be out last week of April, emails will be sent out by the Graduate Division and SON will notify applicants of the decision thru registered mail.

That's really pushing it to the limit. 6-7 months wait is honestly a killer. My life is seriously on standstill at this point.

i know the results are not out yet but to those who need to retake physio course, are you guys taking it now or are you planning to take it in the summer?

sorry but i'm not buying that it really takes this long to notify applicants. schools like csu generally have a much larger applicant pool, their deadlines were later, and they have already made decisions. arrrrrrgh annoying.

@Sunny--sorry about UCI and congrats about CSULB. Wanted to post earlier but couldn't figure out my password. Yeah...seems kind of ridiculous notifications take so long since UCLA was the first application due!

If admitted, I plan on taking physio and Physical Assessment over the summer. I don't want to spend $600-$800 and find out I wasn't accepted. It would had been nice to had found out Before March 31 because Physio started at UCLA extension that day. Now if admitted, I have to take 2 classes over the summer as opposed to just the physical assessment.

I spoke to MC weeks ago asking him if decisions would be known by the beginning of the march 31st class for physio and he said they hoped to have decisions out be end of March. Famous last words....

Good luck everyone! I am curious to read that the CSU schools have notified applicants of admission status. I have an application into San Francisco State (which was due the same date as UCSF), without any notifications yet.

Aaaaand another rejection...CSUDH said my physio class from Indiana University didn't meet their requirement. I don't see how that's possible, but... Hopefully UCLA is more accomodating when it comes to university classes from other states. :/
