UCLA MSN Fall 2014

Published

Hi friends!

Anyone applying to the UCLA MSN-Advanced Practice program for Fall 2014? I applied for the FNP program. I figured we could use this thread to chat and update each other!

Thanks!

Fall 2012 MSN cohort retrieved their decisions around April 18. Seriously cannot wait... #UCLA

I'm not expecting to hear anything until end of April...but I'll be pleasantly surprised if we hear back sooner!

Got my rejection from UCI today ...yikes :/ not looking good! Still hoping for the best

Sorry about your rejection notice from UCI. Did you receive an email?

Yeah I got an email

I'm sorry, sunny. Keep your chin up, schools often look for different things. :) All the best with UCLA's decision.

Geez my sister who applied for grad School 2 months ago just found out today she was accepted. Granted, she's in a completely different field than us and applied to a different school, but really, people wanna get on with life already. Thank goodness I only applied to UCLA's program or I'd really feel like I'm on pins and needles feeling the pressure to accept or decline other offers.

Does anyone know about UCLA's fellowship? How does one get chosen once accepted in the program? Do you have to apply for it?

You have to apply for fellowships to be considered, but they are pretty limited and hard to come by. Here is a website with some fellowship info: Financial Aid for MSN - Advanced Practice Program | UCLA School of Nursing. Contact Craig Kusunoki at the SON (director of financial aid) for more info.

Does anyone know how we retrieve acceptance, waitlist or rejection notifications? I think for acceptance, it will be through regular post. For the latter two, does anyone know if it is the same or will it be sent out through email/login? Thanks in advance!

come on mid/late april, we're maxing out our patience meter!
