UCLA MECN 2021

Hi everyone!

I am planning on applying to UCLA's MECN program for 2021 and since I did not see a thread here yet I wanted to get one going for us to share questions and concerns. Good luck to everyone!

Hi, I didn't receive an email either, but you can maybe send an email to ------------------------ and ask specifically. He's usually very responsive. When my final grades are in, I am planning to send him my unofficial transcripts by mail and send the official ones if he tells me to! Hope that helps! I would also email admissions the same thing just in case ?

Thank you both! I checked my inbox and spam and don't seem to have received an email with any further instructions but I know the admissions team is awesome and very responsive so I am just going to plan on reaching out and emailing unofficial copies when all of my final transcripts are in. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't somewhere on the application website they had to be uploaded to.

Hi all, I also applied for 2021 fall! Has anyone been contacted by the admin about the official transcript yet? I see some posts from current students saying they were asked to send in like in January? It has been 1 month since I submitted and anxiously waiting to hear any updates!

It's my understanding from the info session that they will not request official transcripts until you get in - so no stress if you haven't heard anything like that yet! I haven't heard anything at all since I submitted other than the updates as my recommendations came in.

I just received an email to notify me that my application is complete and decision will be sent out at the end of Feb.
