UCLA MECN 2021

Hi everyone!

I am planning on applying to UCLA's MECN program for 2021 and since I did not see a thread here yet I wanted to get one going for us to share questions and concerns. Good luck to everyone!

It doesn't look good for me, but I am holding on to that little glimmer of hope until I receive an official rejection.  

There's still a bit of hope! Perhaps we'll hear something tomorrow.

Has anyone received any rejections yet? Or only acceptances and waitlists?

Congratulations to everyone who got their acceptance or their waitlist emails. 

Someone posted a few weeks ago (I apologize I can’t recall who it was) that acceptance letter will come from Mark and rejection letter will be coming from the Graduate Division. At this point, I am anticipating a rejection letter from the Graduate Division next week. It’s OK. I know that things will unfold for our higher good.

Thanks for sharing! Crossing my fingers & toes for everyone still. I wonder if the other acceptances just went to people who are not on this thread!

I received a letter of acceptance around noon today. I don't know how the process works, but hope there are still more coming out. You all have been so supportive and helpful through this process. I wish the best for everyone. I understand the stress. I had to stop myself from checking my email today while I was driving an ambulance lights and sirens...

Sigh. I know the Graduate division will send out an email if rejected, but I do not know the waitlist process. Probably next week. For those not accepted, we will probably hear by tomorrow. sigh.

Long time lurker here! I also haven’t received any emails from UCLA SON yet but wanted to let you know that I confirmed with Mark today at 4:14pm that admission decisions are still being released, and this will go into next week as well. Apparently there were over 650 applications submitted this year, but they are trying their best to release all decisions within a week. That being said, let’s not lose hope! I hope this will ease your anxiety! ?

Ahh thanks for sharing! This definitely eased up my anxiety a bit. There's still a glimmer of hope for us however fleeting it may be!!

OMG. THANK YOU for this.

I was working and felt devestated all day. The doctor I work with had to talk to me to snap out of it.

Does anyone know the email address we should be sending our official transcripts to? I only see the physical address ?
