It's that time of year again! I am planning on applying for the Fall 2019 quarter. The summer 2018 information sessions are now open. Who else is applying ?
Welp, just checked my email yesterday (can't believe I missed it when they sent it out last week) and I'm waitlisted--#24, so my hopes are definitely not high. Looks like I'll be widening my scope next application cycle. I'd really like to not leave SoCal if possible. What other (similar) programs did people apply to?

****EDIT**** I figured it out, thanks haha
If you don't mind sharing, when is the SIR deadline?

I was able to reach out to someone who was in the most recent cohort because I also had this concern and she says that only one person dropped out and it was due to a personal issue. She says that the professors are very supportive and try to do what they can to help their students to succeed. Also she mentioned that sometimes someone can be put on a 3 year plan rather than a 2 year plan if they end up failing a couple of classes. The professors really want to give their students as much opportunity as possible. Overall, I think if we go in with the mindset of giving it our all and wanting to succeed we will be just fine. :)
