Hi all,

See there is no thread yet for this upcoming cycle, I know it's a bit early, but figured it might calm my anxiety to connect with others going through application!

Still nothing for me either... really anxious now! I don’t know what to expect at this point, just hoping for the best. Anyone who got accepted to UCI have other offer letters?

Response I got when I asked if acceptance letter are still being sent out.

I still haven't received anything from UCI after doing the video interview, but I did receive a rejection letter from Western U just two days ago, which I'm pretty bummed about. Fingers crossed for those still waiting to hear back!

Thanks for checking in! I've been trying not to feel too down about it, but I can't help but feel like I failed the people who believed in me and myself haha. ;; Would it be okay to ask where you were waitlisted? Congrats! If you'd be open to contacting each other outside of the thread, that'd be great! Would be nice to have someone to talk to while we both wait for further news!

I am an older applicant (close to my 30s) and out of school (full time) for the last 5 years. You have to keep your head up! I know how discouraging it is but eventually you will end up in the right program. I am very fortunate to have gotten accepted to UCI but trust me, I almost did not apply because of how discouraged I was. Don’t give up, keep persevering! And apply EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE you can! I also just received a waitlist offer via email. We are all great people and I also do believe in how the universe will time things for us in very unique ways! You are all worthy, don’t give up!
