@Rouge_bbase Yes it was exactly 10 weeks. However, this was pre -covid. I applied for Fall 2020.

Hey guys! My name is Jo and I just found this thread!! Still haven't heard anything back from UCI.... Based on the otehr threads it looks like there was a second round of interviews sent out??? Hoping that is the case! Has anyone else still not heard anything yet? I am getting verrrrryyyy nervous as UCI was my #1! I had a UG GPA 3.7 and prereq GPA 3.5 I am a state and nationally certified EMT, a nurse assistant for penn medicine, I volunteered in Penn's ER, I've shadowed in every area of the hospital nationally and internationally, and I also volunteer with American Red Cross.... I know I had great recs and great essays..... not sure why I haven't heard anything ?

I just read that they only let in 3% of this year’s applicants; as opposed to the 6-8% traditionally. The way I read it is that the decisions have all been made. I hope I’m wrong about that, but if3% is true that means there were 600 applications for 20 spots

Hmmm interesting. Those are crazy numbers!! however- I am wondering if that is specific to the BSN program or the entire applicant pool??? I am still wondering specifically about the MEPN- based on other years it appears that there was a "second wave" of interview emails sent out... but they didn't get their acceptances until mid march. Who knows! fingers crossed ? ?

My question to her was specifically about the MEPN program ... but I hope youre right.  So far, I have only heard of people getting invitations to interview and acceptance letters.   I have not heard anything about a second round this year, but I am still hoping that is the case.

Following this thread! I interviewed last week, but have yet to hear back. Also curious if another round of acceptance letters will be rolled out.

I am very confused, I am assuming they are still in the process of reviewing interviews since rejection emails have not been sent out? The process is already stressful enough as is, they should update us at to what exactly is going on.

I interviewed as well and have not heard anything, but I'm worried because some people have gotten acceptances.

So does this mean that the review process is finished? So weird that they didn't send out official rejection letters...

So I *think* what they do is maintain a sort of waitlist and as people decline offers they extend to additional people, again just speculation but sort of how it sounds to me from what I have read and heard in the past.
