Hi all,
See there is no thread yet for this upcoming cycle, I know it's a bit early, but figured it might calm my anxiety to connect with others going through application!

I received my invite to interview today but will be turning it down, so hopefully one of you will receive the invite in lieu!

Fingers crossed for everyone who has or will be interviewing!
Question: Was there any indication whether UCI prefers that the interviewees don't look away while answering? I'm wondering if we're discouraged from glancing at our notes, though I do realize that we shouldn't just blatantly read off an answer from our notes.

I tried to look into the camera the whole time! I feel like eye contact is super important...
Do we have more than once chance to record our answer, or is it a "get it right the first time" situation?

Hey Everyone!
For the interview, how long did you guys receive to "think" and then "answer"??? It states that you will have three minutes to think about the question (“think time”) and 1.5 minutes to answer the question (time limit), but then it also states that it "depends on the question that you are answering" too?
So were some of the questions not the "3 min to think, 1.5 min to answer" format?
Thanks!

They are standard in their format, not sure why it says it depends...

I got rejected by UCLA as well without an interview invitation. It's my first year applying tho. I haven't heard back from UCI either. Have you?

I was also rejected by UCLA, and USF. I have not received an invitation interview for UCI. It appears interviews were already sent out. So the next batch will be rejection letters? Or will they still be sending out more interviews?
This is also my first year applying and unfortunately I am now 0-2. I am waiting to hear back from (Concordia ABSN).
This is all so mysterious, it seems like for many programs they wait to send rejections far longer than they need to...

Hi, I’m still waiting to hear from USF. I sent my application in back in December. Did you hear from them about 10 weeks after you submitted?
