Hello Everyone! Anyone applying for the MEPN Program at UC Irvine this year? Keep us updated if you receive any new information from the school! :)

I also got the same email. We will have to wait a couple more days. ?

As an update, we are still in the process of finalizing our application review process. If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified by the end of Monday, March 11, 2018.

Interviews will be conducted online so you will not need to travel to UC Irvine for interviews.

When I called I had to leave a message and a woman called me back but I received the same email as the rest of you today ... that we have to wait until Monday. ?

Hey! I just did an online interview for a nursing school two weeks ago & heard that I got accepted this weekend. So, originally it was suppose to be a SKYPE interview..but I GUESS they had a hard time contacting me via Skype ? (I honestly have no idea what happened, because I was next to my comp the whole time lol). Instead they just called me on my cell & we had a one one one phone interview. Soo, just be prepared for that IF that does happen!! Haha I personally HATE phone calls with people I’m not familiar with- let alone in an interview setting!! Soo, I was sooo thrown off since I had mentally prepared myself for a Skype interview and for all ready! Hahaha

The program I got accepted to is my third choice though...Irvine is my second choice...soo, still waiting. I wish all of you the BEST of luckkk!! We totally got this!! ??☺️

I knew you weren’t blaming them and I totally get how stressful it is! This is my second year applying and after not getting in last year I almost gave up. USD is tentatively my first choice and I’m in there (last year I was waitlisted and never got off the waitlist...I never got a rejection email- talk about waiting!) but the school I was talking about is UM Baltimore which has an amazing CNL program but would be a huge move for me. Azusa is just starting interviews for Spring 2020 (I had mine yesterday) and their program is probably my second choice just because it segways straight into an NP program and they encourage working as an RN during that part of the program. Irvine is a great school too and it’s pretty close to me but obviously I haven’t heard back yet. I never thought I’d be lucky enough to have choices this year. Anyone who doesn’t get in this year, keep going! All I did was get CNA certified and take a couple extra courses so I could apply to more schools. I also mentioned it was my second time in my apps, even for the schools I was applying to for the first time.

On another note, I wonder if we could hear back this weekend. I got my (2nd) rejection email from UCLA at 3am this year. I guess some schools send it out delayed like that.

So cool you have some choices, on of them being your top choice - congrats on all the hard work paying off! ? I know it's a marathon not a sprint so I'm trying to prepare for the worst today and keep pushing on. Your testimony helps!

Haha ugh yeah that situation is exactly what I'm worried about, but at least everyone's in the same boat I guess! Congrats though on getting in to a program in general, so awesome!! Appreciate the positive vibes, best of luck with UCI and any others you applied to ?

Hi guys! Just to let y’all know, I JUST received an email saying that I got an interview spot! ? did anyone else receive an email?? I believe mine says the LAST day to have the interview is March 17th?? A little confused on that. Also, does anyone know what type of questions UC Irvine asks during its interview?? I’m praying for y’all! ????

Ahhh congrats Nikki! I did not receive that email ? Maybe that means my fate is sealed here. In either case, huge congrats to you!!
