First of all, I would like to congratulate everyone who has been accepted to the 2015 accelerated nursing program! For those of you who did not get accepted, don't give up. I applied last year before taking chemistry and I did not get accepted.
I wanted to see if anyone who is planning on attending the 2015 UCF accelerated program would like to get together before the program starts. I want all of us to be successful in the program and in our future nursing careers.
My goal is to successfully complete the program while staying happy and healthy. We are going to have a lot on our plates so I think it is really important that we all support each other on this journey. If anyone is interested in trying to get together before the program starts please let me know.

Alright guys! I decided to choose UNF. I was on UCF waitlist and she said I was pretty far down to have a chance being called off. So congrats to you all who got into UCF and I wish u the best!

Did you talk to an advisor to get that info? I was just told that they could not tell me my relative position on the waitlist. But I'm not giving up hope....I've worked too hard to get here! :)

I have called financial aid and CON trying to find this form that we need for financial aid and no one seems to know what I am talking about. Can you please give me some additional information about this form. Thank you

Is anyone having any luck finding scholarships for students pursuing a second bachelors degree in nursing? I am having trouble finding scholarships that I can apply for before I start the program. If anyone has any helpful information please share and I will share what I find. Good luck!

I believe you will need to wait until the Fall to apply for the nursing scholarships. There is a $10k scholarship for the Accelerated Program. Take a look at the newsletter on the UCF College of Nursing website....there was an article about the scholarship in the last edition.
